My Experience
I am currently a Industry Professor in the School of Applied Technology's Industrial Technology and Management (INTM) program at Illinois Institute of Technology.
IDPL(1982)
I worked as a summer intern at Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd., during the summer while I was at IIT.
Northwestern University (1983-1989)
During my Ph.D. program

I taught several courses in Probability, Statistics, and Operations Research, to undergraduate and graduate students, as an Instructor or as a Lecturer.

I wrote the documentation for an Optimization software developed by Prof. Romesh Saigal.

I did data analysis for research projects undertaken by my adviser and other professors.
ZS Associates (1989-1993)
I worked at ZS as a Strategy Senior Consultant and later as a Manager. Working with senior managersI developed marketing strategies for many of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, and also added core functionality to the Strategy Evaluator and Optimizer software. ZS is a meritocratic company with smart people and a truly great place to work. I had the great pleasure of working with Mr. Jaideep Bajaj, who became the Managing Director.
Tellabs (1993-1998)
I joined Tellabs in Fall1993 as a Staff Engineer, working for Dr. Robert Cardwell in the Strategic Quality Area. During my years at Tellabs I developed system readiness metrics and the reporting for RQMS system rquired by the large RBOCS. I was part of the team that enabled Tellabs to be certified to ISO 9001 QM standards.
